Light Leak's self-titled debut album is a captivating sonic journey through vast desert lands and blue skies. Meandering between ambient and house melodies, the album's standout feature is its binary change between beat tracks and non-beat tracks adding to the theme of computer made music. The beat-driven sections provide movement and energy, while the drone soundscapes offer moments of rest. Notably, all the non-beat tracks are precisely 1 minute and 10 seconds long, adding a deliberate and cohesive element to the album's structure. As you immerse yourself in this musical landscape, you can feel the hot sand between your toes and the burning sun on your head, creating an immersive experience that truly allows the listener to fall and get lost in the music, questioning if this is a real experience or just a Fata Morgana.
